About the Author
The late Harold Fisch was Professor of English at Bar-Ilan University, and founder of its Institute for Literary Research (later the Lechter Institute). He received the Israel Prize for Literary Research in 1999.

Wonderful Edition

This is a wonderful translation. A keeper for out library for either the English or Hebrew script reader, this edition will meet your expectations.
A word about the Hebrew parallel text: When reading, one may notice a few extra vav's and yuds. This text is in classic Hebrew script. The modified markings accommodate pronunciation and spellings more in line with the Aramaic rather than the formal Hebrew.
