About the Author
Leon Chaitow ND DO is an internationally known and respected osteopathic and naturopathic practitioner and teacher of soft tissue manipulation methods of treatment. He is author of over 60 books, including a series on Advanced Soft Tissue Manipulation (Muscle Energy Techniques, Positional Release Techniques, Modern Neuromuscular Techniques) and also Palpation Skills; Cranial

Manipulation: Theory and Practice; Fibromyalgia Syndrome: A Practitioner’s Guide to Treatment, and many more. He is editor of the peer reviewed Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapies, that offers a multidisciplinary perspective on physical methods of patient care. Leon Chaitow was for many years senior lecturer on the Therapeutic Bodywork degree courses which he helped to design at the School of Integrated Health, University of Westminster, London, where is he now an Honorary Fellow. He continues to teach and practice part-time in London, when not in Corfu, Greece where he focuses on his writing.

This is a very well written text and the Cd-Rom with it only makes it even better! It is very detailed and the pictures are great. I have learned a great deal more than when I was taking a class on Cranial Manipulation! Definitely worth every single penny.

This is a well written and easy to read book. The author presents both the pros and the cons for different theories and techniques in this book. Obviously Dr Chaitow is biased towards the efficacy of cranial manipulation, but that does not stop him from saying very clearly what is known, in doubt and not known without favoring one theorist or practioner over another. I will be purchasing more of the author's work. Thank you again for an informative, well researched and well written book.

45 Beautiful Designs based on Dragon Age – printed one side of the page

This is a gorgeous illustrated coloring book with iconic scenes from Dragon Age. The designs are quite detailed and some contain intricate and small areas to color. You don't have to be a fan of the series to absolutely enjoy coloring these beautiful designs but fans will almost certainly want to add this book to their collection (we bought two, one for me and one for my husband.)

The designs include the characters I hoped to see from the game. The illustrations are by a group of artists (Pablo Churin, Juan Frigeri, Gabrield Guzman, Fernando Melek and Facundo Percio.) Their styles mesh well and provide a well-thought out and beautifully put together “story”. The designs are on the front of the page with quotes on the back of the page. The quote applicable to a design is on the opposite facing page to the design (left hand with design on the right hand side.)

This is what I found while coloring in this book and testing my coloring medium on the paper:

Paper is heavyweight, white, slightly rough and non-perforated

Glue Binding

Designs merge into the binding area

I could get the book to lay fairly flat for coloring by breaking/creasing the spine.

Alcohol-based markers bleed through the page. If you use this medium, I suggest using a blotter page to keep ink from seeping through. I use card stock but a couple of pages of paper should work as well.

Water-based markers, India ink pens and gel pens do not bleed through the page. Some do leave light, colorful shadows on the back of the page.

Colored pencils worked well with this paper. It has good “tooth” and allowed for applying layers of the same color to get rich pigment. I could also layer multiple colors well and I could blend both oil and wax based pencils easily with a pencil style blending stick.

The artwork is fantastic and consistent in style and quality

The artwork is fantastic and consistent in style and quality. Some of the characters do look a little off (Alistair and Zevran come to mind), but overall, the lineart is clean and perfect for coloring. I'm partial to using markers for coloring books, so I appreciate the one-sided artwork faced with a quote on paper with a decent thickness. The companions (and advisors) from the main games make at least one appearance; even DLC Sebastian shows up. DA2 does seem to get more attention overall, but I think it's decently balanced.

I'm deducting one star, however, because the cover on my copy is defective. It looks like it wasn't cut properly and ended up getting bent further as a result.

Awesomely perfect

For someone who likes to color for relaxation, and loves Dragon Age, this is perfect! I was pleasantly surprised by the spread each main character gets from Origins to Inquisition and quotes from the characters too! The pages are thicker than your normal coloringbook and smooth, so I think markers could be used potentially, but pages would probably warp with too much liquid like watercolor or ink. My coloring method of choice are prismacolor pencils. Great artwork! Thanks, Bioware!

I use the Center, Jackson, Smith and Stansberry textbook in our Case Studies in Public Relations course.

The cases include famous and not so famous cases from recent decades, which introduce students to the array of potential communication and leadership problems they may encounter in the field.

This case study approach gives students an interesting and pragmatic approach for applying public relations and leadership principles. The book's readable style provides sufficient detail for understanding the cases so that students can really discuss what happened and what might have been done.

A pedagogically sound and well-constructed instructor's manual gives the professor a thorough background for using the case study approach to teaching.

The seventh edition is an excellent choice.

This book should be required for everyone even thinking about entering the field of public relations. The case studies give a very real view of how public relations are in the real world. Michael Levine's Guerrilla PR Wired is also another book that gives a real-life accurate view of PR. I would recommend in particular his Magoo Theory of public realtions.

Not really about 2008

if you are looking to learn SQL Server, then this book is for you, but if you are looking to learn SQL Servers new stuff, specifics to 2008, it appears to be "outside the scope of this book."

I suspect this book was originally titled something like Beginners guide to SQL server 2000 and has been updated each time there is a change, but most of the stuff is generic and doesnt' change.

A good book if you are interested in learning SQL Server, but has very little specific to the advances in 2008 that I was looking for, like the Hierachal datatype.

This is a 5 star SQL book...., for Beginner's but is still in depth!!! Very good!!!

I do not understand some people, when they complain or do not rate the book high, stipulating that it is for beginners. DUH!!! That is exactly what the book is for..., beginners! The book stipulates..., a beginner's guide..., so that is what is should be and it is. I am a recent computer graduate and the best thing about the book is it gives you a great overall foundation to build upon. I had a database class in college and this book covers much, much more. It is not easy, and not too hard. Best thing about it..., it has no mistakes or errors. There are other books that have many errors and errors are the worst and can hang you up or confuse you for hours. So being error free gives it an automatic 5 stars and being true to the title also gives it 5 stars.

So for a beginner book..., it is a 5 star book, and trust me..., it is not easy as pie. It is in depth for an overall great foundation.
